The Crab Nebula Zoa is an old school favorite which has been around for quite a while. They get their name from Joe of Joe Knows Reefs, a well know vendor in the hobby. He has a love of astronomy and his favorite nebula is as you may have guessed, the Crab Nebula. He gave this zoanthid it’s name. They have a warm yellow eye, a bright purple body, and finally green skirt which can get very long and wispy when they are happy. They are of medium hardiness, and can have a medium growth rate but it does take them quite a while to adjust to new environments. They do best with stable water parameters, medium to low lighting and medium to low flow.
