One of our absolute favorites, the salted agave is an unusual customer. They morph easily and can change drastically as they develop. As babies they have a stunning white center with a delicate pink overlay. As they move into their juvenile phase the pink begins to deepen in hue and shifting more towards red, and the white begins to display as speckles, transitioning into a beautiful skirt of alternating light and dark. In their final adult phase they develop strangely beautiful indigo marbling which alternates with the deep red centers, topped with the beautiful white speckles. They are a delight to watch grow and mature, and with a medium growth rate and mid level hardiness it is easy to see why this zoa is so popular. They enjoy the occasional feeding as well as medium light and low to medium flow.
